- Installation Works:
- All electrical installation works shall comply with current BS7671 Wiring Regulations as well as Building Regulations together with any amendments in force at the time of the works.
- In case of an alteration or addition to the existing installation, estimated costs assume that the existing installation and supply meet all relevant regulations and requirements to enable completion of listed works. Otherwise, additional cost may be incurred bringing the installation up to relevant and required regulations of the latest version of BS7671 Wiring Regulations.
- Unless stated otherwise, all cables will be concealed by chasing into the building fabric or concealed in building voids, under floorboards etc. Where impracticable, cabling will be neatly surface run, either clipping direct or housed in conduit or trunking.
- Where carpet or floor coverings require lifting to allow concealed installation work best endeavours will be made to avoid damaging the coverings and to refit them to an acceptable standard. However, consideration should be given to employing a specialist fitter at the clients cost to effect a fully satisfactory reinstatement.
- Where agreed in advance chases to walls etc will be made good with one coat of bonding. Final finish and final decoration is excluded.
- All endeavours will be made to undertake installation work to a clean standard utilising dust sheets and vacuum cleaning/extraction equipment as necessary.
- Unless otherwise stated, removal of excess materials or packaging from site, remaining from works being or carried out at the Client’s property is the Client’s responsibility.
- Some disruption of the power supply is inevitable when carrying out electrical works. It is the client’s responsibility to make arrangements to cover any consequence arising from the temporary loss of power (tropical fish tanks, freezers etc.)
- Exclusions:

- It is the Client’s responsibility to ensure there is a free and uninterrupted access to the property during installation. Otherwise, additional cost may occur.
- Except where agreed builders work (creating of holes larger than 50mm diameter, creating off support structures, etc.) are not included except as outlined above.
